Effects on body and mind

Brain injury can have physical, emotional, thinking, and behavioral effects on a person. Some problems affect many people while others seldom occur. Each person and each brain injury is different. Types of problems, as well as length and amount of recovery, vary considerably from person to person depending on the location, type, and extent of injury.
