Providing ongoing care after brain injury and disorders of consciousness
Shepherd Center provides caregivers of people with brain injury, stroke, and disorders of consciousness a range of educational resources to offer support with related transitions. Here we focus on outpatient care.
Supporting healthy caregiving
To have a better understanding of care needs of a person recovering from injury and to prepare you for hands-on training, we encourage caregivers to watch the videos and consult related reference materials in this section. Please take notes and write your questions down. Reach out to your case manager and nurse educator to address your questions.
